CNCC:
China National Computer Congress (CNCC), the annual flagship conference of China Computer Federation, is the largest leading event held in the field of computer science, bringing together and promoting interactions among the academic and industrial communities. Established in 2003, CNCC has been successfully held 16 times in a different city each year. More than 8,000 people attended CNCC in 2019. The form of the event includes invited plenary talks, plenary forums, technical forums, special activities, and exhibitions. The speakers include winners of the A.M. Turing Award, academicians from CAS and ACEA, top domestic or oversea scholars, and well-known entrepreneurs. A few awards are announced during the conference, including the CCF Wang Xuan Award, the CCF Science and Technology Award, the CCF Overseas Outstanding Contribution Award, and the CCF-IEEE CS Young Scientist Award. Annually, CNCC sponsors teachers and students from remote areas to participate in the event.CNCC 2020 will be held at the Hotel Nikko New Century Beijing on October 22-24, 2020. The theme of the conference will be “Information Technology Empowering Social Governance.” With the unique geographical location, the city’s convenient transportation network, the rich and colorful events that are being organized, and the diverse range of activity venues, this year’s congress will surly attract many people within and outside the field of computer science.
CCF:
Founded in 1962, The China Computer Federation (CCF) is a non-governmental academic society in China computer science and its related fields. CCF has 12 working committees, 38 technical committees, and 13 varieties of publications. It has more than 60,000 members. CCF is now a sister society association partner of IEEE CS and a strategy partner of ACM.
